Migration von MetOffice WOW Konten bis 6. Mai 2025

Für alle, die ihre Wetterdaten an WOW senden - und ggf. die entsprechende(n) Email(s) vom MetOffice übersehen haben bzw. ggf. nicht ihren Spam-Folder überprüft haben.
MetOffice WOW migriert seine "Kunden-"Konten auf ein neues System, und wer weiterhin seine Daten zu WOW senden will, muss seine Station mitsamt Konto migrieren. Letzter Tag ist der 6. Mai.

Folgender Text (der kein Aprilscherz ist, da das Ganze schon früher angekündigt wurde) wurde verschickt:

Important update: Migrate your Weather Observations Website (WOW) account

Dear Weather Observations Website (WOW) user,


We are updating our Weather Observations Website (WOW) login system and require you to migrate your account to our new system. We have now fixed a technical error following our initial message in March, thank you for your patience.


You will need to set up a new log in, either through a social media account or through our new Met Office WOW login system. You will then be required to migrate your old account to the new system using an unique account key.


Please login to the WOW Website now and follow the on-screen steps to begin.

Sign in to WOW
(Man muss sich mit seinen bisherigen Daten einloggen und erhält einen Schlüssel.
Dann muss man entweder ein neues (!) Konto bei WOW anlegen oder via Facebook oder Google sich anmelden.
Wenn man sich mit dem neuen Konto einloggt, kann man seinen Migrationsschlüssel eingeben und dann ist die Migration abgeschlossen.)

We require all users to do this by the 6 May 2025.


If you do not migrate by the 6 May 2025 you may lose your account.
