Moin,
die Ecowitt-App gibt es jetzt - zumindest für Android - in einer deutschen Sprachfassung.
In den Settings lässt sich nun also neben Englisch und Chinesisch auch Deutsch einstellen.
Wer noch eine unglíückliche Übersetzung findet, darf sie hier gerne melden. Dann kümmere ich mich um die Änderung.
Ecowitt sieht also den deutschsprachigen Markt als wertvoll an - es ist die erste neue Sprache, die unterstützt wird. Weitere Lokalisierungen folgen.
Ich finde diesen Weg bemerkenswert.

Die iOS-Version fürs iPhone gibt es jetzt auch auf Deutsch.

Ich hatte auch schon mal Ende Januar einige Fragen an den Ecowitt-Support gestellt:
Es ging um
- die Unterstützung des AD-Wertes
- die deutsche Übersetzung der App
- das Löschen der Alarmmeldungen auf Ecowitt.net
- ein weißer Hintergrund auf Ecowitt.net (wie in der App)
- die Uhrzeit der Alarmmeldungen werden im 12h-Format angezeigt, obwohl 24h-Format eingestellt ist
Why is no AD value displayed for the soil moisture sensors in Ecowitt.net?
Even if a 24-hour format is selected under "Settings" in Ecowitt.net, the alarm messages are displayed in a 12-hour format. Why is this the case?
Are there plans to translate Ecowitt.net and the app into German?
A language that is spoken by 100 million people (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Why is it only possible to delete the alert history in the app, but not in Ecowitt.net? That is inconvenient...
Why is there a selectable light background in the app (Theme - White), but not in Ecowitt.net?
The black background is boring in the long run...

After checking with our software team, the update is as follow:
1. Hp2551 will support soil AD value uploading: firmware need to be 1.9.5 which is not released yet. You can check on www.ecowitt.com for this firmware availability. It should be available soon. Also you need to upgrade your wifi modem firmware version to the latest. You may install “wsview plus” app, tap the device in device list page, it will trigger a firmware update.
2. You mentioned the alert email time is still in 12hour format even you have set to 24hour. This can be a bug in our side, we will check and correct later.
3. The app is under preparation for mulitilanguage support, include German, French, Italian etc. It needs some time, but it is on our job listing.
4. I will pass your other questions to our product team for their evaluation. You are the first one asking for a white scheme for the website layout.
According to the reply from our software team, the header time format is still for 12hr is due to some customers they used this email for triggering some other automation. So we are reluctant to change this to 24hr format as this might change the email payload for some setup related to this email alert.
We will update the webpage for this delete feature added in the future upgrade.
We have no white theme for the webpage dashboard. This needs a lot layout adjustment, and we have no plan to support this feature in the near future.
